It was a nice win, but isn't the FFA Cup a glorified pre-season competition?

No way it's a serious comp that all clubs want to win.

Until they start playing this in season, and start charging the 700 odd clubs competing a 1k entrance fee so the prize money is decent, it'll feel a little mickey mouse, but I can gaurentee people would rate it more if Sydney and Melbourne team's were winning it like we have.

He as characteristics that Bruce had, holding and protecting possession of the ball then passing off to set up a goal, but Toure has more weapons and skill than Bruce.

I think people are forgetting how talented Bruce was, but didn't fulfil his potential in the end.

Not really, this kid has more talent in his left foot than Bruce did. That's not to say Bruce didn't have talent, but this kid is on another level.
