Last night, decided to hire and watch one of the Australian Football Videos, the sort that the play in the locker room before the game. Ended up hiring Footy's Wild Men. It was ok, didn't go as long as I'd hoped, just over an hour. Showed some highlights of Ronnie Andrews fixing up a few hawthorn players as well as that boxing match he had with Jacko.
I've got the 1993 and 2000 BomberBlitz tapes, the latter I haven't watched fully yet . The video store also had Timmy Watson on video, has anyone seen it? Is it anygood? Also they had the 100 Years Of Australian Rules football, I've read the book, well parts of it it's pretty big , just wondering if anyones seen it. Anyone else recommend a good footy video with great old footage? And please, dont suggest that classical afl footy, that looks terrible.

Yeah, got the Watson tape, not bad. 100 years of Australian Football is great.

Also got the 'VFL On Film ~ Marking Time' Vol 1/2, these are great videos, the second one in particular covering the the years 1946 -82. Has action from the great Bomber sides of the 40's/ early 50's. Also has some amusing footage of supporters in the outer. Check it out.

Even though I hate to give them a plug, MMM's rocking footy is not bad at all.

I've seen the Watson video and it's ok too. BB 2000 was not quite as good as '93 I thought. Also didn't include as much finals footage as the '93. Must be becuase they've released a finals pack!

12. Taped the Kevin Sheedy speical off TV in 1998 so I wouldn;t have to buy it. It was made in honour of Sheedy overtaking **** Reynolds as Essendon's longest serving coach.

Seen the Rockin Footy one, thats the one they play at the locker room, has some great footage in it. I didn't know whether to get the VFL one as the cover didn't have much on it, so when I go in next I'll grab it. What disappointed me a little bit about BomberBlitz 2000 was that there was no special comments after each match, like in the 1993 version with Bomber Thompson.
I'm not happy that my video stores don't have the History Of The Bombers Video around. Not much variety, even their soft core pr0n collection is crap.

Have a heap of Dons videos,the Ess 2000 one is a little disappointing,lacking something.Watsons is ok,again could have been better.T.D`s is pretty good.Would love the `83 elimination,oz footy video do not have it,anyone help me there ?

Looks like we're not allowed to mention **** Reynolds......this is an Essendon board isn't it......?

Videos - Seven's Magic Moments is pretty good. It's about 10 or so years old i think. I haven't seen it myself for probably 7 or 8 years. And i think it only goes for half an hour. It's still good though.

And 100 years of Australian Football is good too.

The best place to get good football matches is the Footy Marathon.
