Other Football's Worst Injuries

I dunno how you people can watch these things. I'm too scared to even watch one. Bad enough seeing it live on TV.

I'm with you B/Lev... I had my left arm snapped (both forearm bones shattered) playing in the Victorian Gridiron League back in 1994... my forearm was at a 90 degree angle (you'd have to imagine your arm in a U shape)... and just after it happened I tried to get up using the arm and fell on it. Docs explained to me that once a break like that occurs adrenaline kicks in to help cover the shock/pain, and besides the initial break I honestly didn't feel it until I got to the hospital which was a good 45 minutes after it happened. Then the Morphone kicked in! Weeeeee :)

Because of that I can't watch vids like this. I can still feel and hear the break that I had and it sickens me. I was at the Melbourne/Richmond game in a Corp box just above where N.Brown had his leg snapped... to this day I still haven't watched the replay. I can't do it.
