He really has settled into this level very quickly. Looks classy. Has lots of tools that would translate well. I’m pretty excited about him.

Darcy is going to be a Wynd style ruckman, just a taller one.

This is great for Darcy to get a full hitout in the ruck against an AFL level opponent like TDK without Sweet in the side.

Once he starts getting more of the ball he will be a weapon.

Might be one who will play better at AFL level.

Handling them pretty well, big question will be running the game out.

West has been tackling like a maniac and has kicked a goal, only 6 touches. Half the team hasn't recorded a tackle yet

To be fair the ball hasnt been too clean going inside Carlton's 50.

Most of their goals have also been either from a strong lead to a low kick 40 odd metres out or chipping around the arc. They haven't really had a clean deep inside 50

I thought his first half was okay, been poor this qtr in the contest but I think we have to remember he’s not a FF and he’s being asked to play one out today, it’s just not his role and there’s some pretty big defenders there.

I wish we could get him up around half forward because that’s where he’d play in the AFL but we’re very short on talls today with Sweet out
