Shea been 23rd a few times
Hes a footscray listed player so we would need to draft him in the national or rookie draft to play afl games

Thanks - I didn’t realise he was footscray listed. I’ve never taken the time to understand the 23rd man rule, but I’d always thought it was for unders.

you have inside info ?
With Dahl out and HC also in doubt we basically have no other option. Not saying he doesn’t deserve to play but based on our outs I don’t see how he won’t play

Bevo planned to have Greene playing against West Coast but thought Optus oval would be tough conditions for a debutant due to the oval size.
I expect him to play in Ballarat

7th Port Melb 8-6
8th Essendon 7-7
9th Footscray 7-7
10th North 7-7

It looks like the race for finals will be contested between those teams. With four games remaining, our run home includes matches against each of the three teams we are contending with, as well as a game against the lowly Frankston. Three wins will get us in. Two wins with our poor percentage is unlikely to get us in.

We are lucky we have the bye in the VFL this week. Frankston would roll us.

If we can get Gowers, Boyd, Suckling, Dickson, Williams, Campbell, Jong maybe even Wood for the last game or two off the injury list we could easily win 3 of those 4 games..

Who am I kidding we are averging at least 3 injuries a week. We are cooked.

We stuffed our chance last week against Willi. I don’t think we’ll make it to be fair

Footscray currently sit 8th place and have Bombers and Port for the next two rounds.
With Norf having one game, a win against Bombers locks us into 8th place
