Very strong team in. It's going to be a big couple of weeks from the Footscray boys with two games against finals bound teams in order to remain top 4.

Can't believe it's overlaps the 1s. Scheduling par excellence. Someone who goes I want positive reviews on Toyd.
It happens with every club at least once a year. I don't know how it happens, considering the VFL fixture comes out in mid December.

It's a big game for both clubs. Both sides have similar strengths, strong inside ball winners (O'Brien, Hocking, Langford, Clarke and Graham for us; Boyd, Honeychurch, Smith, Wallis and Webb for you), strong KPP's and try to emulate our seniors in terms of ball movement. I'm expecting a tight contest, if we win top 4 isn't quite out of reach for you guys but if you win it is for us.

Both sides are 4 from their last 5, but I'm going with Essendon by a small margin

Toyd playing the deepest full forward makes me hard.
I don't care what anyone says, if he plays well he comes into the senior side particularly if we make finals. That's if it isn't detrimental to his health though.

Spewing it's so early. If it was a 2pm start I would have gone straight from work. Bugger. Wish it was a Friday night like our last game vs Dons.

I also just looked something up. As long as Toyd doesn't play another AFL game this season then he'll be eligible to play in the VFL finals. It's probably better off going with this option by letting him get back into things instead of us opting to rush him back in against Hawthorn.

(b) Subject to Rule 20(c) below, a Player who has played in an AFL Home and Away Match after 1 July in the relevant season will be ineligible to play in VFL Senior Grade or Development League Finals Series Matches unless that Player has played in a combined total of at least six (6) Senior Grade or Development League Home and Away Matches in the same season.

His last AFL game was in mid June so he passes the date cutoff.
