Trading out 2 senior players and not adding the dual AA bloke with the skillset you're lacking whilst your stars are at their peak is evidence.
Seems pretty reasonable evidence based speculation to me. But yes not definitive.
You might have just chosen to stay a mid table team and added some youngsters to come through later in the hope of remaining a mid table team when your stars wilt.
The situation has been explained so many times, you guys are ****ing obsessed with pushing your agenda at any opportunity.
Kennedy had been on our list 6 years, he wanted to be in the starting midfield. He was told by coaches he was behind Cripps, Hewett, Walsh & Cerra.
He had 1 year on his contract remaining with us, we said he’s welcome to explore a trade for the betterment of his career. He got a 3 year deal from the dogs and with a recent newborn, why the hell wouldn’t he take it? We perhaps too nicely facilitated a trade for what now looks like unders. Played a little bit too nice in my opinion but what can you do?
I’m happy to admit we likely didn’t chase Houston due to a salary cap strain, but Kennedy leaving had nothing to do with that.
