Gold Coast along with Adelaide are one of the biggest unknowns in the league IMO. If the season went as normal, then I wouldn't have a lot of hope for them in this match, but I am interested to see how the break + recovery of injured players will impact their season. We probably know what we get with West Coast (clean disposals, solid defence, solid attack) and their game style is relatively proven, but I don't know with Gold Coast and what their pressure style can bring. Adds another layer to the whole QLD hub thing and really makes it an intriguing match.

It's hard to see West Coast lose though. Don't think Gold Coast score enough to outscore West Coast with the defence that West Coast have. Unless West Coast score really lowly (which I doubt tbh).
