...to reflect the final list sizes and draft picks. There are only 68 draft picks this year - take away a few passes for the PSD and a few AFL and overage recruits from the state leagues and you are going to have a LOT of kids missing out.

Rookie draft will see more kids drafted this year than national draft.

Will still be a little more rejigging as new info comes to hand of course.

This draft order suggests teams are not using veterans lists much. Can this be changed before the second list lodgement and the draft order adjusted?

Done a bit of research, the answer to the first part is yes, and afl.com.au suggests the answer to the second part is also yes but can anyone confirm that?

As Freo traded Troy Longmuir for pick 73, don't they have to use it?

GH, there is no way the Swans will select 3 players under 190cm. Given we have gotten rid of 3 defenders thats an area I think we'll work on.

With our first pick if available Earl Shaw will become a Swan, with the last two picks to be either 2 KPP or a KPP and Midfielder, but not all 3 under 190cm.

I doubt that we will pick up Shaw with our first pick given we have just traded for another young ruckman in Jolley

Streak, The AFL has us down for 29,36,44 and 53

Current Draft Order
They actually have us down for 29,36,42 and 53. Not complaining I was just wondering how it worked out. Now I can see it I understand.

Footydraft has us passing on pick 53 but I can't see how we can as our list wouldn't be at the required 38 minimum, unless they think we will take a player in the PSD.

And how did Richmond end up with pick 12 when the Eagles traded it to Adelaide who on-traded it to Melbourne for Thompson?

Melbourne on-traded it to Geelong for Moloney and they on-traded it for Ottens

You're right about 53, if you don't take it your list size will only be 37. GH would've passed for a PSD pick but it's a compulsory pick because you traded for it.

The fact we traded for Jolly means little, yes we're set in the position for next season with Doyle, Jolly and Ball, but after that we have only Ericksen in our ruck stocks and with the injury history our rucks have, going in with only 4 of them is risky business.

Add the fact Shaw is from NSW and I think we have a pretty idea that the club will go with Shaw at pick 31.

What do you guys think of Heath Grundy? Would he be any chance to be picked up by the Hawks at pick 7 or even pick 21? Seems like he has sticky hands, something the Hawks need up front!
Just a thought..
2. Tambling
5. Franklin
7. Monfries

He said picks 1 and 4 will be on best available player, but i was referring to after those picks, on footydraft.com it hasus drafting a flanker and a wingmen in the lower rounds which won't happen, especially if we end up with Deledio+Tambling.

I'm hoping for Deledio at one and either Griffen or Roughead at 4.
