Probably happened in a reshuffle to get a KPP to Sydney. Wouldn't worry abotu it too much - from 25 onwards players could move around 10-15 positions very easily.

I've changed it now to reflect Collingwood's delisting of McGough.
You couldn't get Kirkby to do a Paul Johnson and slip right down the list to pick 29 could you? :D

saw that. didn't make much sense to me either. Why would we use our highest pick on another onballer? We are already getting Morton. I'd be extemely surprised if we didn't pick up a KKP with that pick. .
OK, swapped Polo and Wilkes, but it's all much of a muchness really. You could pick any of the KPP between 15 and 45 with your first selection, or even an overage player from the WAFL.

I doubt Kirkby will slip out the first round, but stranger things have happened.

You also have Matt Little as being 187cm and yet the Draft Camp stats have him at 183cm. Has he had a growth spurt or is there a typo in there somewhere?

GH , you now have the Cats 1st pick , P32, being used on
Clinton Young.
At 189 abd 76, his strengths are described as :
a pacy full forward who leads well and knows exactly where the goals are.
a reasonable mark, especially on a lead, and his set shot kicking is pretty good.
very good pace for his size, and great agility. He also has the ability to kick the freakish goals on both his natural left foot as well as his right

All this sounds quite promising but Id like to know a couple of things, like standing vertical and running vertical and has he got more growing left in him.At 189 hed be short for a FF and 76kgs he seems light so it seems he might be a couple of years but thats OK,from my point of view Id rather wait for chocolates than have the boiled lollies straight away. Do you see a comparitve type to him in the A's playing in the forwardline?

GH, the current footydraft you have put together takes into account what others from these boards believe their clubs need. If you were to do it based on best available player or how "you" would have it, how would it look?

Wouldn't have Williams as high as 6, probably have Meesen ahead of Cameron Wood but apart from that not too many changes, maybe just a spot or two.

Would like to find room for a couple more players but AFL players and passes mean it's not possible.

Just on Clinton Young, I believe his leap results were very good at draft camp. I don't know how much growing is left in him, he was listed as 187cm at the start of the year. Would probably have to be a 3rd forward at AFL ala Russell Robertson or Nick Davis. I'm quite a fan of his though.

Little was listed somewhere as 187cm (might have been the TAC Cup finals record) - possibly an attempt by Calder to get him drafted! I reckon he is taller than 183cm though.

Garrubba had a very disappointing season and has dropped in the rankings acocrdingly. Could still get picked up late.

Essendon are really keen on Mark McGough, more so than Justin Blumfeild so if he is available I reckon we would pick him up with our 3rd round selction.

Essendon tend to use all their draft picks, so in their 4th round pick... I think we would look into drafting someone like Jarred Morre, Dale May, Matt Rosa...
Defenatly a midefeiler with or 4th round pick..

at footydraft.com (which i love by the way..Kudos to the webmaster) the talk's that Richmond would skip pick 60 and take lee at 66. Is that an oversight or some weird tactic. ?
No, it's an oversight! And fixed now. You actually aren't allowed to pass then re-enter the draft. The Tigers will almost certainly pass on 66 for the PSD. I suspect they'll also use pick 60 on an ex-AFL ruckman rather than a youngster but I'm not sure who (Ackland perhaps?)

Yeah, I could see McGough getting taken by the Bombers, and I think he will go earlier than where we have him. But I understand Sheeds is pretty keen on Blumfield (who is quicker than McGough).

The Bombers have also been saying they will use the PSD this year because they have salary cap space available for a change. Of course, with almost nothing of note in the PSD this might have changed.

Thanks mate. To be compared to Robertson id say he'd need to at least in possesion of a very good in the leap.Nick Davis is not a player Id have thought of with his bio strengths.I think Davis is a player who lacks tricks and therefore struggles for consistancy.Great set shot kick but not that dangerous with marks denied. Would a compasrison to Steve 'Magic"Johnson be out of sorts?.If so how dows he compare to Bate cause watching Bate in the GF I was reminded of what SJ might have been like at that level

Not sure if this has been mentioned (cant be stuffed reading over all the posts) but would you boys be able to include a mock Pre-Season draft on the site too? That'd be a good read aswell.
