RohanConnolly - after last week's forecast of where the SUNS finish, i hope i can email later in the year and let you know that your local cakeshop has a humble pie ready for your collectionHi guys, (particularly TheExtractorFactor and TP86), apologies, but our producer has been away and only returned this morning. Just FYI, we're back to two eps. per week now, and we're looking to record the midweek one Wednesday mornings and the review ep Sunday nights. Unless there's unforseen circumstances, that WILL be the timetable from now on, so lock it in.
Anyway, we think (just quietly) today's ep is one of the best we've done. We're talking about the medical substitute, annoying media, we wrap up Round 7 of AFLW, "Previews With Punch" is back with a bang, and "Fantastic Footy Flashbacks" is a ripper! Hope you enjoy it.
I think the Suns are a good shot at finals. If Rowell is able to recover from his injury he could be such a massive player for you guys, and watching Making their Mark has made me very bullish on the Suns. Reckon you're in a good spot.
yes - get Andrews hamburgers up here on the gold coast!Hi guys,
Our first Round Review episode of the new season is up, all nine games broken down in detail, plus a full summary of the penultimate round of the AFLW season, and, of course, The Rant-Off. Enjoy.
PS. No probs HeathComeBack, I'm long used to such disappointments!
He has a life-size cardboard cut-out of Jimmy. No, mangled pronunciation aside, it's Nik Spartels of West Point Properties.
Thanks. While I've got ya, can you please ask Finey and Mannix to get back into the studio with Kevin for Ruck 'n' Roll? It's fa'rkin hard work listening to them on crappy phone lines for an hour, especially Finey, who doesn't have the clearest voice. He has a life-size cardboard cut-out of Jimmy. Great show again Friday evening , thanks RohanHi guys,
Round 2 Preview episode has just gone online. This week, we discuss the Dangerfield suspension, Matt Rowell's injury & Rhyce Shaw's issues with North Melbourne. There's full previews of all nine games, and "Fantastic Footy Flashbacks" revisits some wacky moments at Waverley!
PS. Thanks for tuning in to "Footyology Final Siren" The hands of stone. If you haven't caught it yet, we take YOUR questions and comments LIVE on Twitter and Facebook following each Friday night game at 10.45pm. Plenty of analysis, plenty of fun!
Great episode Rohan, enjoyed your flashback to the 1973 Grand Final. You are one of the few Victorian media commentators who both knows and gives SANFL and WAFL Footy their due, if only more had your wider outlook on the game.Hi Big Footy folk,
The big Easter episode is up now. Our Round 3 Preview discusses every game in detail. We talk injuries and impact on the Bombers & Blues, and "Fantastic Footy Flashbacks" strolls down memory lane to a great old grand final and an infamous day at the Lake Oval. Who needs Easter eggs when you've got this to munch on! Hope you like it.
Bucks in his playing days was a big fan of the band that did the South Park theme song.Roco rocking the Husker Du shirt at the after game presser, respect.
It seemed to be lost on Fagan and Buckley, Bevo might have got it, he's a Saints surfer from way back.
