It is a funny one. I guess you have to accept the figures on face value and it's a fine achievement but the Hawks only average 9000 members to MCG games (that's verified bar code swipes of membership cards) so it makes you wonder where they all go on match days!

You can crap on all you like about being one of the so called BIG 4 clubs, but you've never been in the BIG 4 in memberships. And who'd blame the loser Tiger fans - 1 finals appearance in about 20 years is a bloody disgrace! I've already put $50,000 on the Tigers finishing 9th yet again this year. Your club is the laughing stock of the AFL, and an embarrassment to one & all.

by dragging the "richmond can't make the finals" argument into the discussion, you have just shown that you have no idea that we are talking about membership, and not team performance. If you don't have the brain to understand and stick to a topic, you shouldn't try to post in a forum which is obviously above your IQ level.

I would prefer to see over 30,000 richmond supporters at the G than have a made up figure of 30,000 members!

How many AFL members are there ? and how many MCC ?

Go to most games and their sections of the MCG are mostly empty.

Are they dogs and cats too ?
