How great was the weather this weekend??? What did you do?

(For those living in other states and who haven't had their central heating set to 30 degrees since April, you wouldn't understand.)

I had brunch in Bridge Road, dinner and drinks sitting OUTSIDE in cafes, and best of all worked on the tan.

COME ON SUMMER..................!!!! :D  :D

NOw this is odd ..but when you had cold rain..it was really hot & sunny up here. Now you have sultry weather & it was overcast with a cold wind this weekend in Sydney. Always the opposite ...like I'm living in some wierd alternative universe.

On Saturday I went to Flemington for Derby day. I bumped into STL who was also enjoying the sun. There was plenty of female flesh on show, worth the price of admission alone :). I won a bit of money which always helps as well ;). Sat night I went to a Bucks night, got home at 3.30 am very drunk and spent the most of today sleeping to recover.

I'm kind of with Mr Ripper on this one, I'm a winter person myself.

I went to Derby Day yesterday and had a reasonable day. Even though Gordo, North Boy, Hire and Desert Eagle decided to lose by a nose and cost me a heap of money, one of my friends was winning easily so I got free drinks all day. If I ever have a winning day at the races, I'll know where my profits will have to go. ;)

The problem was that by midway through the afternoon, my face was completely red apart from the white where my sunglasses were covering. Therefore I'll be spending the next few days praying that my face doesn't tan so I won't be left with a multi-coloured face. :)

Sunburn, flies, smelly people on trains without air-conditioning, crap on telly, bushfires, no footy, beer strikes, sleepless nights-yeah I love summer;)
