It's been four months coming, but today the BRITS were finally, and proudly, able to announce that RICHARD HADLEY is our sponsored player for season 2004.

After inspiring Ash McGrath to stunning heights in 2003, the BRITS wish Sir Richard many further successes in 2004.

All BRITS voted 5-4-3-2-1. Same player eligibilty rules as per the Rising Star award (although we did stretch the rules for Dylan age-wise).

Top 6 were:
Richard Hadley 42
Daniel Pratt 31
Joel MacDonald 31
Daniel Merrett 29
Dylan McLaren 27
Troy Selwood 23

As I said earlier, the voting was done in February so all the new blokes were pretty much sight unseen and sadly overlooked in the selections.

I'd put Drummo up as early favourite for 2005.
