Michael Laffy was the worst player I have ever seen play for Richmond. He was dead set useless.

I believe that to be fact and not opinion.

We used to say the name to each other for a laugh.

Capper even ripped him apart with a bag when playing for Brisbane and most of his teammates were ignoring his leads at that stage.

never forget watching dundas tear footscray a new one kicking 6. i was in tassie at the time, so yes easily amused.

bulluss and howat and at one stage pitura formed our defense in the early 90s. i remember thinking bulluss was our answer at CHB, and howat at FB. pitura was a tall lanky HBFer right?

wigney was good in the year he did his knee at that fateful day in sydney when richo did his as well. mark neeld- arrhhh!!!!

Strabs o'dywer. what did we give up for him and how did we get him? never forget a day at vic park watching us and the pies. boundary throw in near me, SOD misses the ball totally and one bloke yells out "ahh o'dywer u melbourne reject!!"

Yes that is right about Pitura, although he could kick the ball a mile.

I think we traded Pickering for Strawbs.

Another player that comes to mind is Richard Lounder.

How dare you put the "Birdman" Brett Evans on that list. I remember when he played against the Blues years ago, the whole stand was chanting Birdman. He was close to Glenn Archer in terms of hardness at the ball. He was one of my favorites down at Tigerland. What ever happened to him, saw him at Springvale for awile and he disapeers.

I couldn't believe it took to a few days ago for someone to mention Richard "the flounder" Loundner. I think he was a number one draft pick in 1986 or 87. I hope Miller does more with the number one pick this year. Another name is Tony Pastore. He played one game in 87 but was a legend at Williamstown. He still plays for the Werribee Super Rules side and played well when my side played them.
Going back a few years I remember Rod Oborne, Gary Parkes, Peter McCormack, Noel Mugavin and someone mentioned Michael Laffy. I think he was the worst footballer I had seen play VFL/AFL in my time following the game.
