Peter Melesso robably would have had quite a servicable career in the AFL if he didn't get cancer.
That sort of put paid to it.
I watched him play in his days back at Claremont. Great player I thought.

John Hutton, I also watched him at Claremont, I think he kicked 100 goals in the WAFL comp back in 89.......went to Brizzy as the number 1 draft pick the year after. Didn't do so well at AFL level unfortunately, was still a handy forward though.
Finished up at Freo.

Aldo Dipetta? Jason Briggs?

Never heard of either of them, when did they play for the Saints?

from Wiki:

Aldo Dipetta (born 3 January 1972) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda and the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL).[1]
Dipette played his early football with the Springvale Football Club and at Mazenod College.
He made three appearances for St Kilda late in the 1990 AFL season, didn't feature at all in 1991, then played another two league games in 1992.[2]
In 1993 he moved to the ACT and began playing with Ainslie, from where he was drafted to the Sydney Swans, with pick 16 of the 1993 Mid-Season Draft.[3] He played just twice for the Swans.[2]
He is now a podiatrist in Canberra.[4]

Briggs was on their list in the early 90s - don't thinknplayed a senior game. only mentioned him because used to work with the guy and was nice bloke

Paul Hills - Jumped straight from U19 to senior footy in 1991 and was a Baby Bomber Premiership player in 1993. Could really play but after '93 persistent injuries destroyed his career (managed only 11 games in the next three seasons before pulling the pin).
