Watched a great YouTube video of Crystal Palace cult heros recently.
Matt Jansen featured and was very good value for his honesty.

A motor cycle accident cut his stardom short. He was on the verge of being selected for England at 24 before the accident to then having to learn to walk again let alone play.

Remember him at Blackburn. Had nothing in particular about him, average pace, power, skills. But he was very good before the accident.
