Ran gallant seconds to joffa all last year. Had to be spelled due to injury, connections say he is working beautifully. Watch all betting moves, will be running home hard.

smashed the all time track record in winning last years "Sydney Cup" However field was weak in the event. followed up with a 3rd placing in the "Melbourne Cup" Will be climing all over them at the finish.

Won the Japan Cup in a canter, followed up with a 20 length win in the Perth Cup, carrying 69 Kilos, will appreciate the weight drop. Will probably make his run behind the field with Joffa. This will be something to watch, expect to win. Watch betting moves very closely. This horse is all heart.

Lightly raced filly, who struggled at Sale last start. Not expected to trouble this lot. something easier.

Top galloper when right, has been struggling of late. Won the Caulfield Cup 2 years ago with ease, then broke down. Trainer says he is travelling beautifully at the minute. Trained for this one, keep safe.
9. Mobie 50/1
Forever the bridesmaid, has yet to salute the judges in 38 starts. But have to keep safe. Will break run of seconds, if its a slowly run race, will be there at the finish.
10. Santos 330/1
Won the Oakbank hurdle by 23 lengths, then failed at Warnambool. Will struggle here bigtime. Form suggests he should stay in south australia, definately not here.
11. Bubba 15/1
mighty galloper who nearly run down joffa in the brisbane "pure bronze cup" last year. Is well weighted in this event. Has a habit of attacking other horses in his races. Has been granted clearance to run by stewards. Trainer says he is the one to beat, will be rattling home.
12. Bagger 100/1
Well travelled galloper, who appears past his best. would need everything to go right to feature in the finish. Not here.
13. Goldenbear 200/1
Little known about this fella. Secretly trained in New Zealand, will have to be something special to have a say in this event. Not here.
14. QT 66/1
Another South Australian, won the SA cup but has struggled since. Will have to improve out of sight to be in the finish here. Should stay in South Australia.
