Former AFL and SANFL player handed four-year ban by ASADA for taking anabolic steroids

Joshua Glenn is banned from competitive football for four years by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority after testing positive to a prohibited substance.

Tested positive to anabolic steroids after a SANFL game. Played 5 games for the Suns in 2015

”Josh admitted to taking the substances when he was not listed with any SANFL club and was therefore not bound by the code.

"However, the ongoing presence of the substances on 16 June 2018, while participating in a match for Norwood Football Club, constitutes an anti-doping rule violation.”

I wouldn’t have thought anabolics would stay in your system for months?
Also, Matt Brunoli tested +ve for stims 5-6 years ago but I can’t remember if he was still playing SANFL at that stage or had quit to take up powerlifting.
