I'd probably stop following the club if Hird came back as coach. It would send a strong signal that we learnt nothing. That we are still a joke of a football club.

It'd be almost as dumb as hiring a head coach with no coaching experience and surrounding him with a drug addict / peddler.

Forward coach or off-field mentor maybe but head coach no, we need someone that can come in and throw their weight around with an actual game plan and a proper group of support coaches. I would prefer someone like Brett Rattan, he was schooled by Clarko and would surely love to get one back at Carlton for getting rid of him or Caracella.
