Is this a separate club to the Footscray Tech Old Boys who played in the Ammos?

Footscray Tech had senior and junior schools. There was an Old Boys Association. I assume that's how the footy team started. The Old Boy had a cricket team in Williamstown comp I think.

I have my own website but will help you where possible.

Royal Park was St Davids. In 1979, Royal Park and Batman (from NMFL) met to discuss introducing juniors. They merged to form Coburg Districts. St Francis de Sales JFC also part of Coburg Districts.
Do you have any info or articles on Ascot Vale in the 80s & early 90ss, I had 2 uncles playing for them and did the scoreboard for a pie and a can of coke as a 7yo, and can still recite the very unique theme song ' Were the boys from down at Walter Street' as a young kid they seemed like a great club and wonder why they folded.

I only have some notes at the moment but will see what I can dig up. Moved to the FDFL in 1988 and played till 1997. Changing demographics meant they couldn't field senior mens in 1998.

Had fun with this rabbit hole the other night and was able to conclude the following; Fawkner Amateurs last season in the VAFA was 1995, moving to the FDFL in 1996 where they were the Runners Up in the Division 2 Grand Final in that year.

In 1997 they merged with Moomba Park (who were playing in the RDFL) and played as Fawkner Park in the FDFL (couldn't find any info on a change in jumper design for this season).

In 1998 they played in the DVFL and I remember umpiring them wearing a navy jumper, white Fitzroy Football Club monogram and sky blue wings in the format of the West Coast Eagles design - this could have been used for the 1997 season too, but I would assume it CERTAINLY would have happened for the 1998 season in the DVFL as it would have otherwise been a direct clash with Epping FC who also wear navy blue with the white Fitzroy FC 'EFC' monogram.
Fawkner Amatuers played in the FDL in 1995 &96. They then merged with Moomba Park and became Fawkner Park and moved to the Diamond Valley FL

Does anyone have a clear timeline on Essendon High School Ex Scholars/North Essendon? Wikipedia currently has them playing in the EDFL until 1982, then playing in the FDFL/WRFL until 1996 when they folded, and changing their name to North Essendon at some point during their time in the WRFL. However, I've seen a couple of people say that EHSES and North Essendon were separate clubs - can anyone confirm or debunk this?

EHSES became “North Essendon” in the 90’s and played at Buckley Park top oval

I have come across a bit of EDFL history that may be of interest. 1940 EFC Annual Report notes that T. F. Baker from the Old Coburgians FC won the EDFL Junior Section Best and Fairest,
Tom Baker also served in WWII, was a POW in Changi and played in the Changi football competition representing Victoria in the final game when a Victorian team defeated a Rest of Australia team

Sporting Globe 29/9/1945 Reports Tom Baker of Glenroy who played Essendon Junior League

West Brunswick wore red with a white V.

I played against them
When I played against them they wore black and white stripes with a solid black back. We played against them at Western Oval Parkville.
Brunswick City wore blue and white. Brunswick Amateurs wore red and white.
Both played at Dunstable Reserve.

You are thinking of East Brunswick, they wore black and white stripes
