Dan would have to be looking at a move, both of them in fact. They've both got full backing of the team but Max has time on his side, Dan less so.

I will be very interested to see what Kimi does at years end, you would have a number of guys putting their hands up for that drive.

Wow....so this explains why HAM sounded so out of breath during the race on the weekend....

https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/hamilton-gives-up-on-drinks-bottle-to-save-weight-906250/

Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he is not carrying a drinks bottle in his Formula 1 car this year in a bid to help save weight.
Mercedes has been working hard to bring down the weight of its W08 challenger, after starting the campaign struggling to get near the 728kg weight limit for car and driver.

Although improvements have been made over the course of the first five races, the team still needs to find further savings so it can start using ballast to help better balance the car.

That's ridiculous.

Not so much that he's doing it, but they even thought of it. Could put his health at risk

Probably shows that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win that 4th WDC.
Wonder if BOT has water on board or if its just HAM that has taken it out?

Lol,why stop with the water bottle, next he'll do the no jocks n socks combo and maybe fukk the Soul Glo off too while your at it

Reckon a helmet would be pretty heavy...

The lightest helmet I know of is 1.2kg, which is why carrying water is such an issue (1.2kg is only 1.2litres of water)

After the fiasco of 3 drivers into 2 a couple of years ago, getting sacked after disagreeing with driver status would seem like a really lightweight reason.
Think it's more the straw that broke the camel's back: the team and Kaltenborn just couldn't see a way forward together anymore.

FIA is taking another look at Vettel's actions in Azerbaijan.

Of course they should. However its no surprise they take action a while after the fact. Jerez 97 was initially deemed a 'racing incident' and the FIA only did something after the public fallout. As weak as that final punishment was.
