Well another victory for the Dees, smashing both Aints & in the final, the Bombers...

The standard of opposition was pretty average yesterday, probably due to the timing of the event, but it didn't stop a heap a gun players who support Melb from turning up & turning it on...

At this point I would like to say that from a "Big Footy" point of view, it was a shame that Capt Concussion couldn't make it (last time very nearly got BOG) & Wise Guy Sam, who was a tower of strength both in the forward line & down back...

So that meant it was left to Super to fly the flag for us...



Ok, I will try to be gentle here, I saw a kickout after a point from the Saints that defied belief, I have never seen someone 1st nearly miss the ball completely with his foot, with his attempt at a towering kick to the middle of the ground be so creative to have it dribble along the ground for 10 metres & then for the ball to have backspin and go out of bounds & a free to the Saints... All of this seemed to happen in slow motion & sent to bench in to uncontrolled laughter...

Seeing as we had the power from the Bench, it was time to send Super forward (wing), unbelievably our very own ball magnet replicated his patented back spin kick... This bloke has "team play" written all over him, for all our efforts to get him to play deep in the forward line in the last half, he stayed out of there to allow others to steal the limelight...

What has been written might sound a bit rough on someone havin a go, well you are probably right, but it was very amusing to watch & I know Super can see the funny side of the on field antics...

You guys should get involved, it really is a good day out... Next one is probably in Feb...

Let this be a lesson to aspiring porkies everywhere. When you have literally not kicked a football once in a year (not even in the warmup) do not under any circumstances make your comeback by taking a quick kick-in. Thank god there was no footage.

Shattered at there being no mention of spending most of the first game (other than that kick) outnumbered 3 to 1 in the backline and still not copping a goal. And my creation of space in the forward line during the second game clearly gave the decent players the opportunity to run riot.

I just spotted on Ebay, a pair of lime green football boots for sale, starting price "one cent".. in the description it reads "as new, only worn for photo session"...

Would anybody on this site be the seller by chance???
