How good was it to see a fully functioning Forward Line!

I really liked Lloyd in a Richo-ish role, Scotty & Neagle alternating between FF & CHF, Monfries crumbing, McPhee actually taking marks & Hille/Laycock dropping back when possible.

Really excited to get Gumby back to add to it.

As Neagle gets fitter and gains more expierenced he is going to explode one game and demolish a poor defender.

Just reminds me of Fevola (without the dip--- attitude). his movement, massive kick, big body, strong hands...

Agreed... he should of kicked 5 tonight despite not having played much footy recently.

Full marks guys.

For the first time I think I can say that Neagle is gunna be fine out there.

And Lloyd! what a champ! Historically, when he's gone down the ground, he's looked out of place, while also leaving the forwardr line depleted... But with Lucas and Neagle down there, was great!

I thought Hille was great, and even Laycock looked to be finally standing up for the first time this year...

Heck of a game guys!

Yer it was good to see, although i dont think we are quite their yet we are certainatly on the improve in terms of structuring things up which is important.

One thing i really like about neagle, is how hard he is at the contest. The ball comes in, and he either takes the mark, or the ball spills out from the pack, doesn't get out marked.. need to put a crumber at his feet, and can get some good goals off him.

Good to see Knights brave enough to pick a forward line heavy with scoring options after our recent run, would have been pretty easy for him to go a bit more defensive
Worked well & there seemed to be a pretty good structure

The forward line was fantastic last night, but I think that it can get a lot better. We have the firepower up there, we just need to capitalise on all those chances we get. Once we can do that, we will score an extra 4-6 goals every game.

I like your thinking, is good to see somebody realising that Mcphee is a better defender than forward.
That's the last thing we need, poor decision making running off half back. McPhee's best position is probably on the half forward because he works so extemely hard to get the ball, and can run his defender off their feet, aswell as being a good overhead mark. His decision making is a problem, and I think it would be less of a problem if he played at half forward.

I liked Lloyd playing up the ground a bit like he did on Friday night, He looked quite good.

Neagle playing deep, with Lucas also closer to goal, and Gumbleton playing as a lead up CHF, it's starting to look quite potent. I dont think it will be too top heavy as Neagle quite good at chasing and applying pressure so we wouldn't need to rely on Davey, Jetta ect to create all of the forward line pressure by themselves.
