How choosing 6 players as your goal scorers works

CHANGES FROM FIRST COMPETITION:
Reduced to 6 rounds so only 6 players nominated.
Round 23 only: R23 you can double up on an already selected player, but you don’t have to

How often do i need to select the 6 players: Only once
Start of competition: Round 18 Lions v Carlton
Who can enter: First 25 Lions Big Footy posters only.
Reason for 25: i am doing it manually. I may not get that many interested, time will tell.
25 is enough for me to do manually, especially as the weeks progress.
Cut off time: When 25 Lions posters enter, or 7.15 PM on Thursday 10th July. Lions v Blues
Prize: I can’t award a badge so just some fun to have for 6 rounds with a bit of banter
Duration: Runs for 6 rounds (R18-23). So, you are likely in contention for quite a while.

Winner: The poster with the most goals by their selected players after round 23 v Dockers
Tiebreaker: The equal leaders with the most behinds.
If still no winner: Whoever entered the competition first will be the winner. That could suck for someone but i did not want it running longer than 6 rounds.

Goals & behind format appearance on word document: Example 3.5 is 3 goals 5 behinds

Selecting your 6 players: Think a bit about the order you select your 6 players in, as once selected you can’t change them.

I will accept EDITS to your original post up until 7pm Wednesday 9th July. Teams will be named by then.
NO replacement players allowed during the 6 Rounds: Example - injury, omitted, suspension, late out.

Sometime before each Wednesday i will mark the players (in bolded) that are eligible to score for each poster the next round. That’s just to make it a bit clearer as to who you have for the upcoming week.

Posters player selection format, example only:

Using the above format (including being horizontal) will help me in doing a copy/past and record your selections correctly

Please use correct surnames. No nicknames. If an Ashcroft, use Will Ashcroft or Levi Ashcroft

How will it work: Example below, using the above player order. Basically, you add a player each round in the order you have decided.

R18 CAR: Hipwood
R19 WBD: Hipwood + Cameron
R20 GCS: Hipwood + Cameron + Morris
R21 COL: Hipwood + Cameron + Morris + Bailey
R22 SYD: Hipwood + Cameron + Morris + Bailey + Ah-Chee
R23 FRE: Hipwood + Cameron + Morris + Bailey + Ah-Chee + Morris

Winner declared after the conclusion of R23

I will be doing this manually. Maybe check i have listed your players in the correct order.
Also check that i have given you the correct score each week. Let me know if i missed anything

At present i have 2 Word documents.
Most likely i will only use the one
Will see how it plays out over the first round

This is very different to a usual goal kicking competition.
You only select one set of players. People should be in contention for a large period of the competition
If you read the "How it works" slowly you should get the idea.
Open for questions after you read the "How it Works"

I doubt anyone will list their players until at least the weekly injury report comes out later today.
I also think many will wait until the squad is announced Thursday and others for the team on Friday
However, my limit is 30 Brisbane Lions Big Footy posters.

I'm sure we can potentially organise something if the comp fills up... and I remember... and... well, basically those two.

The eg.(09) number reflects the round that player enters the competition.

I don't normally do that so will just see how many posters give it a go.
Deliberately waited for the "Morris" knockout competition to run a few weeks before starting a different type one.
