Re; Forward Structure Without Fev....

I believe that Norman could cause havoc at FF and upset Sydneys defensive plans. Norman has a lot of versitality in his game that has not been fully developed. If he can lead and move around the
lines with Kouta, Lappin, De Luca etc and have a mobile forward line it may upset Goodes and the other backmen and help cover the loss of Fev. and Whitnall.

No doubt Carlton would have beaten Sydney at Optus Oval.
But I can't see Carlton kicking a winning score without Fevola or Whitnall, rain or shine.

If someone can bob up and kick 3 or 4 they have done well.

We have to stand up and win without Fev, we need our midfield to kick the goals... on the run. We need an even amount of goals scored throughout the team - instead of seeing a bag by Fev.

Okay so, if Whitnall and Fevola wern't out, you're saying that Carlton most definitly would have won, aren't you?

If yes, explain to me why. Everyone seems to forget our number one Backman has been out all year injured, before the game we lost an important player in Fosdike, and during the warm-up we lost LRT who was expected to play on your CHF Deluca or Prendergast. Then we had our number 1 ruckman wake up with a bad back(;) )

So again if we had our players you can have your's, that's fair, isn't it?

We lost by 2 goals.

Fevola and Lance would have kicked atleast 2 between them. Even with all your players in.

All the media have said that Fevola and Lance were the difference, even Barry Hall said that!

They would have kicked a couple of goals yes, but had we had our players in and you had your players in we would have won easily.

You can't say you would have won with those players in, because it didn't happen.

If you had those players the rest of your team may have thought "well we got those blokes up forward, we don't need to try as hard"

With all due respect, it's been our problem since Deano and then Secco retired...made worse by the fact that SOS retired and we STILL hadn't drafted a decent key defender.

easily? Bollocks. Result wouldn't have been a lot different. If anything, Blues might have got home.

Bollocks?

Ok insert the best 22 of both teams.

Sydney have the better team.

You had the home ground advantage, but if Fevola was there to kick five goals, would the place have been as electrified?

No, that's my opinion any way, it's all hipothetical, and the better team won.

No doubt Carlton would have won if Fevola and Whitnall were playing. Carlton should have won anyway, but sydney kicked freakishly accurately and Carlton wasted opportunities from set shots at goal.

Sydney's injuries are not comparable. Take out Barry Hall and Michael OLaughlin and then it would have been comparable.
