Any good crumber would be good, doesn't need to be indigenous

Complete lack of a crumber and we keep putting the ball up. We have nobody who can mark or deliver the ball low. Please don't ruin Moore, get rid of Cloke - he making about $25,000 a goal and he is weak - no leader. Fasolo is too selfish and a limited footballer. Give Kennedy a games and see if he settles. Buckley is a poor selector and game day coach.

Id go as far as saying the entire reason we didnt make finals was because of how consistently inacurate we are infront of goal.

We need indigenous small fwds badly, Elliot and fas go up for marks and land and just stop with hands on knees taking in deep breaths .rioli go's up for a mark lands and chasses the ball with second and third efforts

Elliot is fine, he is very important to us
I do think Fasolo will have to improve, just seems he waits for things to happen, and maybe wants to be a star and do star things but he's not Daicos.
I have found him somewhat disappointing overall.

But when the whole team confidence is gone then results of poor standing will happen

Its not Cloke's fault no one can put it to his advantage and that there is no space in the forwardline.

They should learn to stay down and not go for every mark when the Ball is even close to them

Bang on the money.

We actually do have creative forwards, be it crumbers or marking targets.

But you can't do shit if you are outnumbered.

And the reason we are outnumbered doesn't really have anything to do with the forward personell or the structure rather it is the gameplan itself.

People can bang on and on about converting missed shots but I would say the gameplan itself contributes to the missed shots.

How, if they are with 40 metres directly in front?
I don't expect some of those misses, especially ones in the first half today.

That's it. Vickery today is an example of a guy who looks like a superstar when given good delivery. Every single player we bring into the club from now on should be able to use the ball well. Our backline is so poor by foot that we can't move the ball quick enough on transition to give our forwards clear space before they're flooded. I swear today Pendles was the only bloke out there who looked like her could kick the footy for us. It's something that has been the big tick against our recruiting for quite a while now.

Our structures are awful. You wouldn't want to be a defender or a forward in our set-up. Defenders appear to be instructed to push up too far and leave and then leave their man and give him an uncontested possession if they are anywhere near someone with the footy. Forwards appear to be instructed to be a stationary target who takes up a space so noone can lead - their defender bodies up on them and then an extra opponent takes an uncontested mark. Bucks is a fabulous communicator, who makes his point very concisely and clearly, but could someone else please take control of strategy.

Clokes timing is all out. Only place he gets a kick is on the wing. The forward plan just does not work. CLOKE is the strongest key forward in the comp and we don't get him one on one. Moore is a real talent but we need to give him room to lead. Definitely need a small crumber. Blair flies for too many marks. The 4 goals we missed today straight in front is not acceptable. Surely it has to do with training drills, or lack of them. Our mids and half backs don't know where to put the ball when they run the lins. Our forwards are all over the place.

Blair doesn't have the required attributes to be a good small forward.

Fact is most AFL quality small fwd aboriginals have a excellent natural ability to evade, slip and break tackles have great goal awareness and excellent disposal, combined with a very fast acceleration 10 to 20m.

TLDR version they have xfactor and bring the magic which can turn momentum.

I'd add Blair as well. He leads all the time and while he marks a few unless it's 40m or less he is not a reliable kick for goal. We also kick it to Blair in a contest where it's always going to be spoiled. I would prefer a crumbing forward.
