Why would you even consider Higgins? 245k is rookie price these days and to be honest we may need to pay overs in the forward line.

Jack Martin is worth 217K and he is a top-line rookie..245K is mid-pricer...there is no doubt about it,

Martin might be 217k but guys like Josh Kelly (260k), Aish (246k) & Dom Sheed (235k) are also rookies priced near or above Jed Lamb so i'll stick with the rookie price.

My point is dont count Lamb out just because you think he is a mid-pricer, cos he just isnt based on rookie prices for 2014. Sure is 2013 and earlier he would be but not now.

Maybe defining which comp you are talking about generally helps, in the OP there is no mention of which comp other than you mention "its not a problem in AFL Fantasy"... check you own OP.

Like I said, if you read the OP it was made quite clear what the main point of the topic is.

This isn't so much of a problem with AFL Fantasy, just wait a fortnight and change your team around after a round of the real stuff, and you are able to take much more risks with mid-pricers. But for Real DT, this presents a huge problem with the starting team.

Consider Tunbridge. Agreed though forwards full-stop are not looking good this year.

Probably won't play round 1, did a hammy. I'd expect to see him play quite a few games this season but he's no guarantee.

Oh good, I wasn't the only one worrying about my forward bench. Will be my Achilles heel this year. I currently have Thurlow (don't expect to play but is DPP) alongside Kennedy-Harris with Rohan on the field. I expect those two to be my Neade for this year, the player that chalks up big numbers when on my bench but goes quiet when on the field. Should be fun!

:') You do realise you linked an article than is focusing on rookies in RDT AND AFL Fantasy. If you want to select him in RDT, go right ahead, one less person to worry about. However I suspect if you believe Lamb is a good rookie prospect you probably weren't a threat anyway....but he is a considerable amount more expensive than any other rookie in RDT. So I'm not sure how you classify him as rookie in that...
