Pretty good effort and pretty spot on by the selectors.

Would hope to get a few more pushing for selection next season. You would hope that Gibbs, Yarran, Jamison and Kreuzer can all step up to the elite status that is the AA squad in season 2012 and dominate it like Geelong have over the years.

There was a time when Bower was close to making the AA squad too but has been lost in injury land for two years. Lets hope he remains on our list and returns to that form.

I recon all these guys could make the team, Betts might be competing pretty hard with Milne though for the small forward spot.

Agree GB.

I think Betts maybe the unlucky one competing with Milne.

Well done to Scotto who deserves his spot.

Judd Murphy are automatic selections.

Jamison would of been AA Full Back if not for injury. Would like to think Judd, Murph and Scotto can find a place in the 22. Can't see Betts making the cut.

Betts is a strange selection but his recent form probably justifies it.

The rest are easily justifiable.

If only Jamison didn't get injured, then we could have had five.

Just on the squad, does anyone think Goodes is a chance to pinch the brownlow this year? Had a slow start but came home fairly strong IMO. Plus, not many people there to pinch votes from him.

Well done to them.

Betts is a surprise. Thought Walker and to a lesser extent Garlett may have been ahead of him. Reckon 1AW is very stiff not to make the squad.

Judd, Murphy and Scotland should all be certainties to make the final 22, but I can't see Eddie making it.

Great for all the four boys, but hasn't Scotland been terrific this year.
Love to see him make the final 22 :thumbsu:

I agree about Walker also.
Could have very easily been in this company, with Gibbs not too far behind, either.

Expecting Betts to be the only one from our group to miss out on the final team....Unless they actually put people in their positions!

Captain Juddy?

I reckon that Judd and Smurph will be starting 18, possibly Scotto on the back flank or the wing and if Betts makes the final cut, he will be on the bench.

Congrats to all 4 of them for making the cut.

I am curious about the non-selection of 1AW... I would have thought they would take him over Betts considering the form he has been in all year.

I bet all want to be the blue guy with the big .... except for the lady, of course. ;)
He doesn't even have that big of a.... uh, thing. Relative to his awesomeness that is.

Anyways, Judd and Murph would be locks. Scotland should be in the team and Betts is very unlikely.

would have loved jamo to play the whole season, also yarran, gibbs and kreuze would be eyeing next year. Even garlett would be, assuming he gets a bigger tank.

As for betts I think he'll miss out, still he has done great to secure a spot in a quality team, especially as his second half last year was a little worrying.

Statistically walker should have been in there, there's only one small forward (milne) above him, surely he gets the other pocket? I assume they have counted walker as a full forward not a pocket, which would explain this. Also does anyone else agree walker was not soley a forward this year, especially in the second half he was up around the middle for large parts of our games...

Great to see scotland get the nod, I feel though he still may miss out, even though he shouldnt - as he is very underrated.

Great to see the bummers have doughnuts - lets give them another on sunday!

Judd for captain of the AA? who else is there for this title?

I AM CARLTON

Go blues!

Surprised also Betts made the squad but doubt he will make the 22 and surely Murph makes it this year and Juddy is a lock.

Scottlands nomination is well deserved and he has been rock solid this year and a massive congrats from me for him but i also doubt he will make the final 22 but gee i hope i am wrong.

Jamo terribly unlucky he got injured and very stiff. :(

Garlett faded out towards the end of the season but at the Mid way point was in everyones team which is great for him at this stage of his career. :thumbsu:

Walker and Gibbs also unlucky but i cant help but feel their time will come and Walker will be good next year again and Bryce will lift another notch IMO.

Kruezer next season will give the team a huge shake after a solid Pre season and we have not seen any where near his best footy yet. :thumbsu:

Deledio...LOL

He hasn't even been Richmond's best player this year.

Hardly warrants AA selection.

Having said that, Betts is reasonably lucky to be in the squad.

Spot on. Jammo had that spot sewn up.

Would like to have seen Walker ahead of Betts as up until the last couple of weeks he was the leading "small" goalkicker in the comp.

Betts will hopefully live up to the honour this Sunday. Needs to produce in a big game for us.:thumbsu:

Simpson underrated again.

This :thumbsu: One of the most consistent wingmen in the comp and yet gets little to none recognition, ever!
