What's funny is Sheds does some crazy stuff in nearly every game, a handball that no one saw coming, dancing etc. Nothing's made of it, when cyril does something like that it's multiple orgasm time.

AFL has the worst commentary of any professional sport in the world.

You obviously didn't hear Reggie Miller and I think it was Chris Webber trying to hang Matthew Dellavadova after he had Al Horford try to drop a big tomahawk on him.
Reasoned that Dellavadova was a disgrace and tries to injure blokes deliberately and basically deserves the treatment and should also be sent off.
Luckily the match officials are not disgracefully so far skewed in their view of the world as Reggie and his mate.
It was shameful.

It's less about hating Richmond are more about the hard on the entire media has for Port. They're an exciting team and don't have many rivals, so it's easy for the media and public to get behind them.

The wanking over Wingard, Robbie Gray, Matty White, Ollie Wines, Travis Boak, Justin Westhoff and Jay Schulz is sickening. They commentators have so many pet players from Port it's ridiculous.

Picture how it would of been with dwyane Russell calling our game last Sunday lol. 10 times worse.

Baffles me how the majority of those involved in AFL media manage to get a gig, the standard is really poor and these brain dead clowns just keep flogging it. Embarassing for the sport. Really hope they introduce the 'mute commentary' button.

I'm actually really surprised because I always sort of though we were the resilient types who couldn't give a fat rats about this stuff.

I can tolerate poor commentary, but they were blatantly using the hard-ons they had for Port Adelaide as microphones.

I was calm and confident all game, the only thing that got to me were those airheads. The only good thing was when I left for several minutes to cook a meal, I heard the commentary and thought Port were starting to dominate, I walked back in to find that we'd extended the lead by 2 goals.

Fox footy isn't cheap, you have to pay a fair bit of money for this tripe. I'm pulling the plug on my subscription if things don't drastically improve.

I watched the last quarter again last night. They actually gave us plenty of praise, even pumped up Dimmas tyres. (plan B!!!! got a run)
Yes the commentary was flat towards the end but the game was over a long way out. We rained on Cornes parade, wrecked a cinderella story finish for him and them.
So I sort of get why the comm box lacked a bit of spark.

The result isn't everything for me, I like to watch the game and enjoy it. Too many commentators act like supporters, coaches or analysts and they're all rubbish at it, they just need to stick to calling the game.
