I hate to say it guys but we wont be covered by any other station then FOXTEL until May 30th, Rd 10 when we play Essendon on the Friday night and that wont be any better as its done by Seven :thumbsd:

And don't I know it.:o

Thankfully, coverage levels improve dramatically in the second half of the season. Still, mighty annoying not having a single game on FTA TV in the first 9 weeks of the competition.

That used to be the way to go. However since the digital age the radio coverage is now a good 2-3 seconds in front of the TV making it impossible to watch.

You know what....I even put up with the delay, simply because the alternative gives me the shits. :D

I'll be more then happy to put up with a 3 second delay if it means I don't have to put up with Shaw. That's a no brainer.
I just have someone play the AFL Premiership game on PS2 in the background and listen to that commentary.
It's probably more accurate.

In 40 years we'd have robots for commentators so we don't put up with this rubbish anymore.

The commentary this year on 7, 10 or Fox, has been a pathetic display of mistakes and barracking. The mistakes I can live with (ie getting VB, Vince and Mackay mixed up repeatedly) but it's the obvious barracking that shits me to tears.

Our game plan is too defensive. Mcleod's disposals are not damaging enough. Goodwin should be in the midfield. Fevola will kick a bag now that Rutten is injured. Adelaide need to kick flukey crumbing goals like Carlton if they want to win.

This is the shit we have to listen to every week. Season tickets sure are money well spent as it means that I don't have to listen to those creeps cheer for the opposition especially as Robert Walls will probably commentate our saturday night match this week.

Commetti and McAvaney are exceptional callers. Darcy, Pickering, Russell and Buckley are pretty good as well. Eddie McGuire >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Walls, Shaw, Frawley, R Smith and Jakovich.

This is amateurish stuff. Could Tony Shaw be any more supportive of Carlton? What about when the Blues got a kick forward and Adelaide marked it, he let out a massive sigh. Everything is focused on the Blues, who’s playing well, what changes they should make, what they need to do in certain situations. And Matty Campbell, who I like, seems to explode whenever Judd gets near the ball. This really is shocking stuff, and it seems to happen every week. :thumbsd:

This is my problem with Chris Judd. A fantastic player, but just about every commentator loses it whenever he looks like getting the ball. Judd can do exactly the same as another player, but it is exceptional because he done it. Wait for the responses, but I think he is over rated. Purely because every goal he kicks, the commentator's carry on as if it is the goal of the year!

Interesting to note, just heard Robert Walls on 5AA, saying he thought Chris Judd looked off on Saturday - not that he wanted to take anything away from Robert Shirley!

I think your being unfair. To me it feels like every station has gone up shit creek. Horrible stuff. As for tony shaw....he just loves us. Only reason i can guess is he is trying to appear that he doesnt hate us so he over does it.
