Does this bring back memories of what happened to the 1981 Victorian State of Origin team under then coach Tony Jewell. The Vics were playing WA at Subiaco and they had to take two chartered planes which took about under 10 hours to arrive in Perth. The flights took its toll because the Vics got thrashed by 10 goals.
