Rumour Foxtel + Membership.

I'm about to get Foxtel for the upcoming Footy/Cricket (intl)/Motorsport season from my cousin who works at Foxtel.

He says that after Sunday there is going to be a new promotion which is something like 'get Foxtel and get a membership'.

Him not being a particularly footy savvy guy wasn't sure what membership meant but after a brief discussion we think it means a membership to the club of your choice.

I presume it'll be a 1 game or 3 game or something, but if any of you are thinking about getting Foxtel and haven't gotten a membership (or want another one for a family member/friend), wait until after Sunday

haha yeah nah thats cool. you know what these corporates are like.

i'm reckoning that gary pert had something to do with the idea in its infancy. it may have been discussed at a crookwood board meeting and no-one at fox has had the courage to poo-poo it yet. they just cant find anyone in the office who is prepared to care enough about taking on the extra work in order to satisfy perts concept of a six-figure membership base.
