ill be demanding part of my bill taken off, the only reason i have this is for the footy and cant even watch it! cant even ring them its engaged.it must be stuffed everywhere.

Yep same here .Will it be the same at the pubs? Im in Blackburn . My mates in ferntree gully is working apparently
 
Heads are going to roll if it's not back on by 1pm, me and my brother are going to bomb the foxtel building if they can't get there act together!

I just called foxtel on 131 999.
It has a recorded message saying there are problems with the foxtel in Melbourne.
Of course I was not sattisfied by this so I held the line to talk to a real person.
He sounded quite annoyed that I would ask about my foxtel being down because there was already a message. He said it is down all across Melbourne, they have no idea why or for how long.
I told him the footy was on at 1:00 and I would be pissed it if wasn't fixed by then. He said, but it's not just you sir and so I hung up. I could not be more angry right now.

I had problems( I live in Geelong), don't know if this helps, but take the power point out of the socket, leave for 30 seconds, put power point back in socket, wait thirty seconds, and then press the Foxtel button. Got me going.
 
Spoke to them, central problem, switching the set wont help, they have no ETA for resumption of broadcast

SEN or 774 ABC only options in Central Melbourne

Thanks for the suggestion, tried it and still the same problem, the red signal lock light is on, so it's definitely a problem on foxtels end. Though I'm seriously prepared to try anything at this point, only 15 minutes for them to fix this or I'm not paying my bill ha.

Everyone it's back. Press the Back and Select button on your unit. It'll cycle through then power off. Power it back on then press the foxtell button.
