Watching the game tonight just looked like the G-Train didn't want to be there, he looked disinterested, bored and just like he was being forced to play.

The mark he took in the last quarter behind Riewoldt, it looked as if he didn't want to kick the ball for goal, looking around, just looked extremly bored.

Will he Retire soon?

What are your thoughts???

Why don't you focus on your own team for achange.... Try and get at least one win on the board, hmmm....

Answering your question though, I don't think he was particularly bored tonight, he did try but his kicking for goal was a little bad. He definitely put a bit more effort in than last week.

Poor old Fraser has the worst body language in the league!

Its why he and the West Coast fans never got along.

I think it was psycological tonight, he didn't want to kick his 500th goal at Subi.:D

He worked hard tonight, and gave you guys great service when he was a WCE, so leave him alone.
He did work hard, and I'm not really having a go at him. I think players like Fraser are great for the game, love him or hate him he gives you someone to talk about! He just cant hide his frustration very well and never could.

My thoughts are that you should worry about your team 0-8
We are 4-5 and i thought fraser did quite well last night. He gave grover a hiding imho so until you and your champ(richo) get over the line dont come in trying to troll

If he'd have kicked 5.1 instead of 1.5 he'd have given Grover a hiding.

But he didn't ... although he tried hard enough, just couldn't get on target.

I was not trying to troll, I was simply stating something that I noticed in the game, it is amazing that one person can't point out something without either being called a troll or having his team get bagged to shit.

The only thing that I can say about Richmond to St.Kilda that would be a troll is at least the Tiges try when they play, Saints were awful last night and gave up with almost 20 minutes to go in the last QTR,, not only that it is also the fact that the Tiges weren't supposed to be that good this year but the Saints are supposed to be a Top 8 team, some even saying Top 4, now you are 13th.

No doubt your evidence for that statement is the Richmond V Geelong game. There was only 157 points in it. The Tiges tried their rings off that game didn't they. :p

I reckon Fraser might be very close to 'having a gutful'. I reckon he's looked bored as well at times. I've always been a big fan of the G Train with his combination of power and speed but to this neutral observer (no, not the troll from Bay 13) he does appear to be a little disinterested to me.

regards,

I was really only saying it in jest but i don't take it back because of this statement - St.Kilda did NOT give up.... Fremantle have quality forwards and we have NO - repeat NO backline. What the **** were we supposed to do? What the hell could we do? In the blink of an eye, the match was over. Not because we stopped trying but because Freo got off their arses and realised we were close enough to steal it.

yeah we were supposed to be a top 8 side this year, I'll give you that but we have a new coach and are still struggling to adapt to the gameplan.... it'll probably take til mid season to finally kick into gear - hopefully we will have some luck with injuries by then.

Finally, I hope you guys get a win on the board soon. i remmeber 2000 and the constant heaertbreak from that year... it was torture - round 9 was especially bad lsoign to the dogs after leading by 35 pts at 3QT.....

Just promise me your first win for the season doesn't come in round 13 and that'll be great!

So you think the Tiges have a great backline?

Saints had: Leigh Fisher, Sam Fisher, James Gwilt, Brett Voss and the possibility of playing Sam Gilbert there.

And anyway with a midfield of the like of: Dal Santo, Ball, Hayes, Baker and Armitage it shouldn't be hard to hit one of Riewoldt, Gherig or Kosi should it?

As for our first win, I will guarentee it to be this weekend.

We will also win in round 13, that might be our second one!:p

Yes mate, superamazing AFL-game experience. The only KPP defender from all those is Sam Fisher, and he was coming back from injury. So yes, barely NO Backline.

OK, let's be smart arses then.... obviously we had a backline but four players from our best 22 were missing - no gram, hudgton, maguire or goddard....

and the argument about our mids and forwards is a good one, but we didn't GIVE UP..... Freo players just wanted it more and got the ball out with devestating ease. Their midfield >>>>>> our midfield easily.

Harvey was injured from the first or second quarter, Ball has been playing injured since early last year and is still struggling to play well, Dal Santo is playing injured the last couple of weeks but still ebing serviceable, Baker is a welcome addition but wasn't very effective on the weekend, Hayes I'll give you that one - GUN, straight back into it and Armitage is a seocnd gamer, doubt he's gonna carry our midifled straight away.

I notice you didn't rate Fiora... bitter much? lol, just kidding, but even you must admit he's improved a lot this eyar so far. Riewoldt and Gehrig actually played ok on Friday night but could not kick a goal - Roo's kickign this eyar has ben good til Firday nght but now of course he'll get his "can't kick a goal" label stuck to him for the rest of the season. I think Kosi went missing for this match too.....

All valid points you bring up but with the injuries we have and the players forced to PLAY injured due to the injuries we have, we're bloody lucky to even have four wins on the board....

Fiora has improved, but in stats only, still plays the same weak, poor decision game as usual(No Doubt You Will Mention His Mark, It Was A Good Mark, But He Did That All The Time With The Tiges) having said that, he was picked ahead of Pavlich and I think I know who you would pick out of Fiora and Pav, especially with the kicking woes of your Forwards against his team.

As for the injuries, the way I see it is that if you cross that white line then you are 100% fit, doesn't matter whether you have a niggle or a bad injury you cannot use things like that as an excuse, for example our Captain Kane Johnson is supposedly playing with a Broken Hand, it is effecting his game big time and should really take some weeks off, now I know that the Saints wouldn't have much to come into the side for those players but then the blame has to be put on someone for having so many injured players, who would that be, Coach, Fitness Guy or Players???

I don't think Fiora was too bad out there - he's just about earnt a place in our best 22 atm I would think - one advantage of all these injuries is learning what depth we actually ahve - its never been tested like this and even though we're failing at the moment, its still exciting to see what we have aorund the corner when the retirements start to happen.

I'm not going to bring Richomnd into this - I know I did with my first post but that was (I'll admit) just a troll to get you to post again (plus every week St.Kilda plays like crap I just remain thankful that we're not on the bottom of the ladder - again, not saying we're playing any better than you atm, if we played Richmond this weekend, there's a good chance we may lose)
Back to the point, if a richmond player is playing with an injury then i'm not going to say that's no excuse.... regardless of how 100% someone is though, it takes time to recover from injury - lenny took his time getting back into it when he returned this year and now he comes straight back and dominates - that was what i was referring to by playing "unfit" people.

As for who to blame - Archie Fraser has stated himself that the only thing ew can blame is luck. RL said it was fitness staff when GT was in charge but Archie said there's nothing to blame but luck.....

Oh, and its obvious I'd take Pavlich before Fiora too.... but that's not really our fault.
