Who else thinks that next year will be the year of the Fraser?! I think with a full preseason and a relatively good season last year he should be able to dominate as we all know he can! Didak is out but i expect Fraser to fill the breach, wouldnt be suprised if we played finals next year.
 
Have one too many at the races today did we?
a) Didak and Fraser completely different players so why the comparison
b) Since when did one player having a great season guarantee finals.
Seriously, no wonder we are always called for overestimating our team...
 
Fraser will only get better. If he wants to play extended spells in the forward line, as a tall marking option, he needs to bulk up and become stronger in the shoulders. We know he is an amazing athlete. But I would like to see him take a game by the scruff of the neck in the forward line.

Dont see why it would make a difference if you have a b&f playing at CHF/ruck or one playing on the HFF. You go through your best options to the goal, last season it was didak, this year it could be Fraser, thomas who knows.

Given that alot of ppl have said that didak not playing means no finals for the pies i think if another player steps up and dominates their position (as didak did last year) we will play finals. Cant see why fraser couldnt do that regardless of what position he plays.

The only way Fraser will reach his full potential is if he is nursed... and nursed i mean - rested in the forward line while someone else takes 30% of ruck duties. He could quite easily kick 40 goals next year if we have backup (Richards, or Keating)

But this wont happen and never will

Agreed guys.Fraser will have agreat year next year if he gets some relief in the ruck and he plays a lot down forward.If we pick up a young ruckman at pick 28,Richards plays most of the year and we pick up Clark Keating to help richards and fraser.i have no doubt Fraser will become an extremely damaging forward,He will be better than Tarrant was down there and i reckon he will kick over 50 goals
 
Keating and Fraser can go half each in the ruck. At important throw ins Keating will be the man though. Even at his age, Keating is a better tap ruckman than Josh.
