Little warning on Betmax, pretty small compared to other stories I’ve read on here but anyway, placed this bet at Seymour with an odds boost to $2.80

Turns out according to them I didn’t. Pretty sure I did though. Thought I’ll try again on the next race here (blurry but odds boost to $2.35 is the important bit)

Turns out the odds boost feature at Betmax aren’t worth shit. Hopefully the withdrawal comes through ok

Can i add Vicbet to this growing list? Banned from promos is one thing, not my first rodeo, but the low life scum bags won't even bet me BTSP, Topfluc or BOB anymore. Basically all I could be was fixed odds. Avoid.


Has anyone got a topsport account? Is it worth opening or just stick with the fair?

It used to be an artform of sorts back in the day but not so much any more. I knew a couple of genuine bookies who were not bad fellas at all, not saints by any means but do right by them & they did right by you & they certainly were not LLSB's. Different game now though & the world is poorer for it.
 
Interesting that all the bookies operating address is publicly available. It's basically all their houses.

Maybe worth taking stat decs over to their place 😆

Cleary is an absolute shit bag. Used to have a decent reputation (for whatever reason) but is despised even by other bookmakers now. Had a dispute with him a while ago and the Vic regulator was totally inept so I got a bowler to smash a bunch of palps to get my money back and a bit extra as a '**** you' bonus. Funny thing is he paid that account out in full, even though the prices were obvious errors (software issue a while back spat out heaps). Yet he flaked on my original account which was 100% fine.

Best to assume that any NSW or Vic licensed bookie is a crook. Some aren't, but you'll be right more often than not. When Rob Waterhouse is one of the more legit operators, you know there's a problem 😂

Oh as for Topsport, they are still good but have been bought out by BetR so no doubt they will go to shit now. Outside of them both Unibet and Sportsbet will take a decent amount of smart money (if they don't already have a marker for that particular market).

Sportsbet may not take certain bets and only offer smaller amounts for certain bets but at least they don't shut down winning accounts without refunding money first. And they also pay out big winning bets like the ****ing coward thieving dogs at Ladbrokes who steal your money and are then too scared to tell you their real names.

Sportsbet will never steal your money.

Agreed, I just think there are better options for a recreational punter who hasn't yet been restricted. b365 being the obvious, and the Entain 'back up' promos are gold, if you can still access them.

But yeah, Sportsbet are fine in that regard, avoid might have been too strong of a word 😂

Thanks Boss. He had no issue paying and no hold up, but no point having an account where all I can take is fixed odds. I'll just revert back to Betfair for now I think
 
POINTSBET: for not refunding Darcy injury. Every other major bookie voided/refunded except them. This was a really early injury in the 1st quarter as well!
They did the same with armartey last week even though that happened in the 2nd quarter. But this was a season ending injury tonight. Absolutely piss weak from pointsbet be sure not to take goal kickers there in the future

No other sportsbook bar Sportsbet give payout on an injury from my experience. Think bet365 also have some sort of insurance if a player gets injured early but I have been barred from them.

I do find the Pointsbet odds for goalscorers tend to be better for : multis and singles as a result.

Huge stretch calling a bookmaker a fraud for not doling out a justice/good will refund, But that's how punters have been conditioned over the past few years. Expecting something for nothing and kicking up a fuss about it

The Pointsbet good is much better SGM odds, The bad is no voiding bets for 1st half subbed out players. The Sportsbet bad is they have pathetic diluted SGM multi odds. I'd choose Sportsbet for singles and standard multi bets though, as the odds are true and you've got the subbed out void.
