It was geelongs 7th premiership, the year is 2007, it has been 7 years since a melb team has won.

Their best players wore numbers that were related to 7: selwood 14, 2x7, moooney 21, 7x3, chapman 35, 5x7.

It has been 44 years since their last premiership, ports losing score was what?

Thats right 44.
