And that exactly what I mean - He's a turn over specialist and our current squad can't cope with another mentor like him

Agreed. Really surprised to see how many clangers he had though.

What we really need is a midfielder who can burst away from packs. Enter Dangerfield.

Seriously we are lacking this in the midfield department.

I agree - My ideal midfielder to pick up would be Travis Boak. He would be great in the B&W, uses the ball well, finds plenty both inside and outside and can kick a goal. He would be the best suit to our team atm I think or someone very similar.

Freeman is really good at that.

All good and well to hope this occurs but given the opportunity to take a proven gun like Dangerfield, if we have the space it would be crazy not to ask the question.

Might not be a gun like Dangerfield but in terms of playing style is a bit similar. And next year I think he'll have an impact.

I'm struggling to see a reason not to throw the kitchen sink at Dangerfield, you can never have too many Dangerfields in one team, Beams leaving was the footy gods telling us 'your money could be better spent elsewhere guys', we should use the hole he left in our salary cap getting him over.

Get Dangerfield.

Get Freeman and Shazza on the park.

Get Josh Thomas to pull a Swan and after a slow start to his career, become brilliant.

Get Broomy and Kennedy in the middle.

Get Crispy to keep on developing.

And with all that lies our line breaking/destroying 2016-2018 premiership midfield.

I was only kidding, but do we have much of a chance in landing him?

Landing Dangerfield?

He idolized Bucks growing up, perhaps he's a romantic and the idea of holding up the premiership cup is too appealing for him.

But he also supported Geelong, i think they'll also try to throw the sink at him but if you look at their list, they have a massive number of stars that will be retiring the next few years, they appear to be something of a sinking ship whilst we are a team on the rise, going too Geelong would put too much pressure on him to carry them over the next few years. I think if we rise the ladder next year we'll be a much more appealing prospect, the biggest club playing in front of the biggest crowds, we've been building a war chest and it's about time we used it.

Whenever people ask Danger about the prospect of returning home he immediately looks uncomfortable, doesn't look like a bloke too certain about his future and the Crows too are in no mans land at the moment, with a new coach and game plan who knows how they'll go next year, they go down and we go up, along with the factors mentioned above I could certainly see him returning home, i'd say it's 50/50, it's either Geelong, us or the Crows, all teams appear cashed up so it might turn into a brutal season long bidding war.

Just like Taylor Adams wanted to play for Geelong and Beams wanted to be close to his dad on the Gold Coast. The distance between the 2 is not much and wont influence his decision

You're sure about that now are you?

Just had a look at something in regards to Cotchin, he is ranked 7th in the AFL for clangers per game.
4th in the AFL for total clangers.

I see Cotchin a lot like Ablett, just without the talent. Not the player for us. But I think we'll see Danger in black and white come 2016

I also think his kicking efficiency is well suited to our game plan - it's atrocious isn't it?
I think your being harsh on him there. Anything under 10 metres, and he hits a target most of the time. 6/10 easily. When he has to kick long, say 12m plus, only then does his efficiency suffer
