He has caused no mistrials. In regards to the 2018 Leeds Crown Court, the Court of Appeal overturned his conviction for contempt of court and removed all bail conditions. So at this point he is not guilty of breaking the law.

How did the many media organisations (and posters on your website) who breached the court suppression order in the Pell case help anyone? It could have endangered the prosecution of Pell in the second trial. And all for increased newspaper sales, page clicks and Likes. Vile.
We removed those threads. Simple as that. Overseas journos shouldn’t have published.

This is just whataboutism.

These crimes had not been "already exposed" by definition of being under a suppression order. How many child abusers have walked free thus far due to Tommy's activism? Rubbish argument.

People supported Pell being illegally outed, but change their minds in this case due to simple partisanship. I am at least consistent; I support the calling out of child abuse regardless of the perpetrator's identity.
Lol! Attempted murder should no longer be a crime? Reckless behaviour should be ignored? We wait until the trial is actually screwed up before we do anything?

This guy is a self-promoting pillock. He aspires to be the Hillsong of douchebag white nationalism.

The Pell case was over bar the shouting, not ongoing and the first part of a split trial.

The two are easily distinguishable.

Its this sort of nonsense that Tommy taps in to. Decent people despise this nonsense and are very aware that the police wasted time on crap whilst ignoring real issues as below.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-47409199

The theft of nearly 10,000 sheep across England and Wales last year has only resulted in one charge by police, the BBC can reveal.

Dorset Police has two dedicated rural officers in the county.

https://www.met.police.uk/SysSiteAs...ice/policies/inclusion-strategy-2017-2021.pdf

For the priorities, we want to:
1.Continue improvement intherecruitment ofa more representative Met workforce
2.Further improve progression, development and retention of officers from underrepresentedgroups
3.Improvethe levels of fairness and respect in the way that Met workforce feel they are treated by colleagues
4.Reduce the level ofinequalities in satisfaction and confidence
.5.Increase victim satisfaction for all victims, with particular focus on all hate crimes
6.Improve our response to public complaints to reduce the gap in satisfaction between complainants from BME and non-BME backgrounds.
7.Work with academics, industry, private and public sector experts to develop a stronger understanding of the effect and impact of Race on public’s confidence on the Met and implement bespoke research initiatives to improve the public’s negative perception and deliver and equitable service to Black and Minority Ethnic communities
Crime against the person always gets elevated over crime against property.

But we have the same issues in Australia where property theft in remote communities is under policed. And in cities.

You said what Robinson did was against the law. At this point he's innocent of the charges made against him.

And you said the Pell case was different. It's not.
Poor Tommy. An innocent man persecuted just for trying to profit from social media content creation.

Bullshit.

Pell was facing two distinct sets of charges, which would go before two different juries. What if the second trial was jeopardised because of the breaches to the suppression order? It's well established thinking that potential jurors in a later trial might be highly prejudiced by knowledge of a previous conviction.

Pell was found guilty in the first trial but might get off on appeal - so the second trial could have been crucial.

Crime against the person always gets elevated over crime against property.

Hate crime is an utter joke. How can this nonsense be a police priority? A truly idiotic mp is now lobbying for misogyny to be a hate crime.

https://www.met.police.uk/advice/advice-and-information/hco/hate-crime/what-is-hate-crime/

A hate incident is any incident which the victim, or anyone else, thinks is based on someone’s prejudice towards them because of their race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or because they are transgender.

Not all hate incidents will amount to criminal offences, but it is equally important that these are reported and recorded by the police.

I'm sure the dozens of publishers, editors, broadcasters, reporters and subeditors who have been 'persecuted' by being issued with show-cause notices
accusing them of potentially interfering with the administration of justice and scandalising the court breached the suppression order in the public interest.

Not all black people carry knives but stop and search is important, yeah?

Not all people lurking in your street are looking to steal your sheep but it is important to report suspicious behaviour.

Not all bags left unattended in an airport are bombs but it is important to report anything suspicious.

And so on.

Why is it that, for you, reporting racial abuse and the like is the worst thing a person could do?

And no they aren’t lobbying for misogyny to be a hate crime. *s sake.

So the people who published should have consequences.

And???

How does this compare to filming people DURING a trial?

Why was he handing power over to these scum? That’s what he did. He handed them leverage to get the trial aborted.

For money.

You get it yet?

Against random breath tests are you?

Hardly said it was the worst thing. Regardless its arbitrary BS that the police shouldnt be involved in.

And no they aren’t lobbying for misogyny to be a hate crime. ****s sake.

Humour.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-45408492

A Labour MP is trying to change the law so that misogynistic behaviour is treated as a hate crime.

Her changes would mean someone convicted of the crime could get a tougher sentence if it was "motivated by misogyny".

MPs are currently debating the draft legislation.

https://www.theguardian.com/society...sogyny-becoming-a-hate-called-amazing-victory

Campaigners have welcomed an “amazing” victory in the fight against sexist street harassment after the government announced a comprehensive review of hate crime legislation, which will consider whether to recognise misogyny as a hate crime.

Same country that wants people to apply for a pr0n licence.

The last labour leader wanted to make Islamophobia an offence. These clowns simply cant grasp that a criminal football thug now has a following largely due to their actions (or non actions in the case of grooming cases)

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/po...s-prepared-to-pay-to-win-the-Muslim-vote.html
Dimwit lefties are too stupid to realise that the regressive politics they cheerlead in sympathy for the Other go hand in glove with regressive politics they don't like - eg pr0n licences, Muslim parents pulling their kids out of progressive brainwashing etc. Houellebecq will be recognised as a prophet for foreseeing effete liberalism's collapse into either sharia or fascism.

One Labour MP wants to give tougher sentences for people convicted of existing crimes if motivated by misogyny.

(EDIT: No, more than one: "Ms Creasy's amendment to the draft law has been backed by MPs including former Education Secretary Nicky Morgan.")

It doesn't sound like even she wants to make "being a misogynist" a crime.

Do you get it?

Stella Creasy wants to amend new legislation that would ban taking unsolicited pictures under someone's clothing.
Her changes would mean someone convicted of the crime [OF TAKING UPSKIRT PICTURES] could get a tougher sentence if it was "motivated by misogyny".
God knows what she means specifically or how they would divine the intention, but your interpretation is incorrect. The suggestion is to increase the penalty according to motivation. It's a dumb "tough on crime" grab from what I can see but it is not what you think it is. You are falling for a clickbait headline.

I'll just bookmark this post and link it whenever you talk about it. Saves wearing out my keyboard.

I cant believe you are attempting to argue re this.

https://www.fawcettsociety.org.uk/news/misogyny-hate-crime-meeting-statement

Yesterday representatives from the Fawcett Society, Citizens UK and Women’s Aid, together with women who have lived experience of misogyny and violence, met with Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Cressida Dick CBE QPM and Chief Constable Sara Thornton CBE QPM, Chair of the National Police Chiefs’ Council to discuss the issue of misogyny as a hate crime and the importance of tackling violence against women and girls. It was a constructive and wide-ranging discussion and we have agreed to keep in touch in the coming months as the Law Commission review into hate crime progresses.

Making misogyny a hate crime,
in our view, would address the normalisation of gender-based violence our society and enable the police to address violent crimes against women and girls which currently go unreported.”

They don’t mean that it would be a crime in itself, but a factor that would bring a harsher sentence to an existing crime. That’s it.
