Not a game day thread.

Long story short, missed flight from Cairns to Melbourne as flights were departing from international terminal instead of domestic. We got to the check in counter at 10.12am for 11.00am depart and was told check in done and dusted, earliest we could get there - midnight May 02nd.
Canned the whole trip, get partial refund on accommodation, blown flights, hire car and tickets to the game tonight lol

I have 3 x adult tickets and 1 x junior(6-14) I can transfer to anyone interested SECTION L2-31, ROW U, SEATS 63, 64, 65, 66.

Bit of a bummer, family are devo as am i but I'd rather the tickets get used by North faithful than not at all.

If I can help a foursome get to the game, all good, if not I'll send them separately I guess. Cheers

Ridiculous by the airline. Happened to me at the Gold Coast airport one time. All the other passengers were on the other side of a barrier I could have stepped over but they would not budge.

Nowhere on the ticket does it state the plane will be taking off from the international terminal, I was just supposed to know this and be there early.

It was booked with points, so not sure if that makes a difference when issuing tickets.

6 day holiday munted before it began. Luckily it's only cost us a grand and 180,000 points. My boy is bleeding though.

I was driving in the car and I saw a msg on the screen from Jetstar ar 5.51am directing to go to international terminal. Wasn't in my messages, it was in ****ing spam!!! A ****ing text msg cost us a holiday!!!

So bizarre.

You'd think they would follow with an email.... but no.
