Anyone know which coaches' contracts run out this year?

Adelaide has the money to lure a Malthouse if available. We should be going after the best, especially if it means ****ing off a lot of Victorian supporters.

McDermott may be proven correct but he honestly wouldn't have a clue at this stage. Just because Neil Craig fills in now gives no insight into next years decision. Ayres declined to go on this season and they had to have someone coach the year out and Craig is as good as we have out of our assistants.

IMO we need to move heaven and earth to get Terry Wallace.

At least Adelaide have a couple of months to see if Craig is capable of doing the job.

I expect them to go after some big names regardless and Craig is a fall back guy.

I agree 100%!

Wallace & Jonas would be my preference (& would be ideal if we got them both with Jonas in an expanded 2IC role, including developing the youngsters.

No to Neil Craig, I say milk him for what he is worth then **** him off, The AFC have the dollars go out and get the very best coach available, and if we have to screw some other club to do it well so be it

Bill Sanders just on SEN.

Basically said nothing except:

- Experience is a big plus for next coach
- Refused to be drawn on Wallace
- spoke to many incl players to arrive at decision
- Craig has chance to push himself forward his case over next 10 weeks, but isn't on a promise.
- sub-committee to be set up - 3-4 people (Trigg, Payze, probably Sanders) to find new coach

Sheedy is the obvious one who falls out of contract. He is going to milk the Richmond and Adelaide vacancies to get a premium contract from the Bombers but if Adelaide were to put in an offer he couldn't refuse... perhaps he wouldn't refuse.

Mark Williams is another coach out of contract at the end of this year and would be worth talking to IMO. He is no media star but the players reportedly have a very healthy respect for him. I could take his whinging and whining if we won as many games as Port do.

I would be making it impossible for Matthews to say no. He would be my #1 priority and if it means throwing BIG money at him so be it.

I don't care how they do it BUT if we don't get Jonas to the club as a development coach I would be EXTREMELY disappointed.

Matthews won't be coming to Adelaide Stiffy - he's firmly entrenched up there with a champion team and loves the life style.

I know his daughter Tracey and she and her husband have just moved to Brisbane to live as well.

The family is pretty entrenched up there now.
