Who is the fu** head who controls the lights to the Matagarup bridge?
Fyfe in the forward line drags the best defender off tabs and lets him off the chain more. Iistening to Duff on his podcast today he said surely now fyfe's legacy is getting team success. Its the missing link of an outstanding career winning another brownlow wont make much of a difference compared to a premiership. And if it means moving forward working on his forward craft in the off-season so he can become a 50 goal a year forward then so be it.
Obivously if cerra leaves then it may be harder to do that. But i think if cerra stays and the club finish the year strong and make finals without Fyfe then the club i feel needs to plan and prepare Fyfe as a forward at least to start the year. Commit to it and see how it goes. Fyfe needs protecting from himself sometimes as i reckon he has only got through one season without a major injury once in his career because he plays such a physical game.
Watched a replay last night. The last quarter was just as spine tingling second time around. And when the siren went I just had to smile.
Forgot to post this after the game, it was great to see the bridge shining in our colours after such a hard fought win

Lot of heart in that hug
The guy's a muppet, and I simply don't read his articles any longer.Never seen more backhanded compliments than in that article from Quartermain - "theatrics" "tricking the umpure" from Serong when all he did was stand still after the tummy-tickle from Cochin right in front of the umpire. Then he had to cut the sentence about kicking the go-ahead goal with a dig at our crowd size. Shouldn't be allowed near a Wharfy article.
