Just as I did for the fellas, I thought the girls deserved a dedicated thread to the team and personal achievement across their short season. Better late than never.

It's a one thread fits all. :)

(If anyone wants to cast their minds back to maybe just 3-2-1 votes from weeks 1 and 2. We'll go up to a total of 10 votes max/poster/game, with 3 being the most a player can score. I'll keep a tally of those here too).

Rd 3:

3. Miller - stood up when the game was there to be won. Huge on the 1%ers.
2. Seth - defence
2. Pugh - stood up
2. Stannett - under immense pressure
1. Strom - amazing work for an 18yo. Bounced back in the second half after getting trounced in the first.

[Lambert will get the perfect 10 from the coaches again. Was immense.]

Yes, Miller and Strom were outstanding!

Votes from anyone?

3 top votes for any one player.
Up to 10 votes total.

ie traditional 3-2-1
Or 3+3+3+1 (10 total)
Or 3+2+2+1 (8 total)
Or 2+2+2+2+2 (10 total)

Just 3 max/player; 10 max total votes

AFLCA votes and TOTW updated in OP. Anyone wants to vote for best players, I’ll it close tomorrow (Wed).

Granny Val - did your quote of my votes count for you too? You just mentioned Miller and Strom.

Come on peeps - don’t make me feel like I’m flogging a dead horse! The girls deserve some love too!! 🤩💜

Difficult game to apportion votes, a true team effort got up. That said:

Miller - 3 votes for driving the momentum change in the midfield.
Pugh - 2 votes for huge defence
Seth - 2 votes as above.
Bowers - 2 votes for being a machine on ball.
Houghton - 1 vote for being influential in attack in a low scoring game.

Feels bad leaving out Stewart, Gooch, Cuthbertson and Roux - but they have all impressed over the first three rounds.

Mascall was really good today. After being a star last week I thought Pugh didn't have a great game. Rest of the defence was solid and held up well.

Not sure why the standard has dropped so far from what we saw in the derby? Kind of feels like too much a team of individuals rather than a team working for each other - the defence the exception the past two weeks.

Ok, I'll throw in a vote for Mascall for you.

All updated to Round 4. I found an AFLW staff 'POTY' that I hadn't seen before, and also Power Rankings, so I've added them in also.

I'm wondering if anyone is actually reading this now that the blokes are back on...

Lots of unlucky players. A solid team performance. They play for each other, for the coach and for the jumper. Love these girls 💜💜💜

Clifford, Gooch, O'Sullivan unlucky. KJG lucky given her complete brain-fade, but other than that she played a very good game. Loved Clifford's passion!

Please vote!

(We're doing it a bit differently for the girls. It's 3 votes max per player, to max 10 votes all together - but it can be less).
Example:
3. Bowers
2. E.Antonio
2. Sharp
1. Miller
1. K.Antonio

Means you can leave it at 9 votes total, or change the ratios, or add another player with 1 vote.

But thank you for voting, and I would encourage others to do it too!

Please. :)

Thanks to EVERYONE who voted this week... ie showemhowtorock

I think I'll keep this going through the finals, so don't be afraid to throw your votes in.

Maximum 10 votes total, as many players as you like (could be 10), but no player can get more than 3 votes. Then converted to 3-2-1 for the week.
