To 'motivate' you, think of an equivalent team made up of Big Footy West Coast posters (or other club posters, or motley crue) to play against.

So, nominate or pick yourself, or additionally another Fremantle poster (who connects and contributes to this board), to any of the positions (listed below) to make up a team line up of 18 on field positions, with 4 interchange players.

With the remaining posters to also make up the 'Big Footy Fremantle Board Posters playing list (squad).'
(A maximum 'poster player' list of 50, even if 40 or so is the norm for AFL club player lists).
50 allows more posters to participate and be nominated/picked.

News:
I have formally left inquiries with fellow BF posters on the Adelaide, Port Adelaide, Sydney and Geelong forums to ascertain whether they wish to put together their own team to interact and compete against us in other virtual (fantasy) footy games on our forum. (In the form of a thread).

In regards to a proposed Virtual (Fantasy) Western Derby, so far most of the West Coast posters who replied, are not interested.

I would once have been captain/coach - a deadly mixture of Pav/Fyfe/RTB... I ran the POTY (who remembers the shindigs for those awards nights!?), the buddy draft, the countdown to the season arriving... Ah the memories of my glory days.

But sadly my form and ability has faded, so I'll be that old guy who gets a lifeline on the rookie list at a new club after he's been delisted from his club at age 34. Someone like, say, Drew Petrie for example.

Once I was as pure a midfielder as can be but father time has had his inevitable way and these days I see myself more like the old blokes I see up in the Western Desert Carnival. They park themselves in the square sometimes sitting down against a goalpost sharing a dhurrie with their opposite number but when the ball arrives in their area they explode in a flurry of brilliance, sidestep 5 blokes and kick a banana over their head through the big sticks and then once the ball has gone back to the centre they pick up the smoke from wherever they dropped it and go back and sit down again.
