Well that end of season trip sure went a bit longer than I'd expected. ******** knows where the rest of the team is, but lets just say the Cambodian constabulary took a lot of convincing that the naked guy tied to the temple gate with a greased garden gnome stuk up his ass was a legend of the BFFC scene and captain of one of the biggest sides around, 2005 test premiers and 2006 1-day runners up...
Delistings: Rozza44 (well he ditched us really - keeps strong Mariners tradition of nurturing the games best rookie bats)
Tazza - had potential but obviosuly forgot the way to training
Door still open: Kenny, Sante, Waspy, and Sabre - guys let me know your intentions... need more form you this year!
So basically there are slots open in a great, professional, and good time club. As former premiers we have bonus points all over the shop - so a strong team indeed. Made GF of the 1-dayers, won the tests in 05 and sat in the finals posistions all season until we admittedly choked and lost about the last 5 straight.
I don;t care if you are a newbie or a seasoned pro - if you want in then we want you... but if you don't post you'll not get a game and if you do post you will get a game. My track record is pretty firm on that front.
So let me know here, or PM me.
But for now an update on the lads off season:
I've recieved postcards from Porty and Cam and they appear to be in Vegas. BBGun is on Celebrity Survivor. The Pope and Rob are in the nets getting their 2005 test form back. The Mase is studying the occult for the off-season - maybe that is where the goat's blood I was smeared with came from (it is coming back to me now). Jars has gone the totally extreme option and is visiting his mum in Adelaide - I hope he comes back mentally stable.
POwer 21 is holding the BFFC International efforts together - got a lot of practice holding a potential laden rabble together all year so no surprises really. BBGun is doing Panto in the UK - Skegness I believe. Which end of the horse are you BB?
DoubleA is rollerblading across South America - At least he said something about a hot brazillian, and that it was now a bit Chile down there.
I'll stop now, nto that you are reading any more, as my efforts at humour are lacking. If you can write good gags there is leadership potential at the Mariners.
