Yes, that is because we struggled to get the ball out the 50, as I said. We would kick it out and it would come straight back in. You guys had set up well across half forward. If you had have kicked the first goal, you might well have not got those other shots. It's clutching at straws saying you would have won if you kicked straighter. You would have been in a better position to win then what you were, but that's it.

I'm not sure I made my point clear enough, so I will do that now.

You said that the footy season is not over 12 weeks - and you were implying that even though we were better over that 12 week period, it doesn't matter because at the end of the season we dropped off. What I am saying, is that after 22 weeks, being higher on the ladder doesn't make you the better side, because there are still finals to play. So it is yet to be seen whether Freo are the better side. Agreed, it is more likely they are, but yet to be seen for sure.

How bout we all just build a bridge and get over it! Guys the Derby was last saturday nite. Its now Wednesday...... Im more concerned about this weeks ELIMINATION FINAL, rather than some pesky round 22 match 'derby'. At the end of the day u can play brillantly all year ( ie Port), but if it comes down to the finals and u suck then all that hard work throughout the year means sweet f**k all!

Good Point.

I would like to see the purple pansies upgrade Fremantle oval as an AFL venue and use it as their home base. I cant see why a team as Fremantle use a ground 5 minutes away from the city. They should be in Freo along with their toothless dirty rednecks of supporters.
