i'm trying to compile a database for Footy Fanatic (amongst other things) and just posting the guys on your list in the order i believe to be the best players to the worst on your list.

Please feel free to comment on any players i have grossly out of position in terms of their rank, positions, D/O/B, State of Origin etc,. etc,.

also it would be good if you could tell me what guys have now made their debuts

I am also unaware of who are the veterans on any AFL list - don't think Freo have any though??.

Also note I have players approximate salaries on here. If any of these are majorly off just let me know, and if any of you know how what guys are off contract at years end, or how long to some of the guys on the team are coming off contract it would be appreciated.

Probably worth noting of the 6 teams i've done now Freo would've been the hardest to rank in terms of ranking your regular players. Your top 3 are far and away your best, but after that, the difference between the next 15 or so players is virtually nothing.

please feel free to comment. I know not all are going to be right so it helps me if you tell me that because i would like to make this as accurate as possible.

Well in my opinion....

McPharlin should be 4th.

Carr too high... should be in between about 10 and 15.

Polak at this stage too high.

Hayden should be in the top 10.

McManus should be higher as well.

Clive should be lower.

Cunningham should be lower.

Thornton should be higher... in between about 20-27.

Edgecumbe should be about 10 spots higher.

Not that I seen that much of the rookies (only seen them play a handful of times) but Mundy should be well above Peake for example.

I think Siegert and Haines are about level.

At the moment Polak is definitely too high.
Though in a few years he will be number 2 behind pavlich.

Carr is too high as well.
McPharlin definitely above him , you could probally put Medhurst and Farmer above him as well.
Cunninghamis too high as well.

Ok here's my opinions.

Polak should be below 10, Carr should be around 10, Longmuir should be below 10, Mcpharlin 4th, macca and cook slightly higher, hayden top 10, thornton 5 or so positions higher, ditto webster, and for good measure throw cunningham around the 43-44 mark (just kidding :p)

And I think Parker is on our veterans list this year?

Overall its a pretty decent list.

Sandilands was drafted in 2002 Natoinal Draft wasn't he??? if so it would mean he is still on minimum wage (which is $30,000 on FF).

As I understand it, the minimum is about $40k a year with $2k per AFL game (with about $500 per WAFL game).

Whether a rookie list promotee goes on the minimum for 2 years automatically is something I don't know.

IMO: Medhurst would be closer to $200k, Longmuir would be closer to $300k, probably over. Double Farmer's salary.
