Was that the game a few years back where Cornes played on for about twenty minutes after being injured and was later diagnosed with a fractured bone in his leg?
No it was the game when he was actually suffering from renal failure, kicked the winning goal after running up the wing, jumping the fence and rescuscitating a convulsing supporter. All this with a bullet embedded in his spinal cord. Hes a gun.:thumbsu:

For what its worth we dont know where the teams are at because the season proper hasn't started. There are no easy games in the AFL anymore. Dockers by 19 points.

You appear to be casting doubt on the fact that Cornes did play on for some time after breaking a bone in his leg. I can assure you that it happened.

You no thats not really a big deal...I know for a fact of one AFL player playing for three weeks with a fracture in his leg and it wasnt until he broke it that he stopped playing...

OK, I believe you Toots, those meta tarsals are delicate little things. :p
I don't recall whether it was his tibia or fibula. It happened in 2005.

Edit:- Last year in a game against Melbourne Chad Cornes was playing terribly and was eventually taken from the ground. Scans later showed that he had suffered a punctured lung and was attempting to continue playing on through the pain and impaired breathing. He is no sook.

We know which brother got the sook genes. Will never redeem himself from that.

You are clearly a moron if you don't think Chad Cornes is a gun. Either that or you are blind or not a footy fan.

Coaches and players the land over constantly laud him as such, he is an All Australian player and finished in the top few in the Brownlow a few years back.

Give it a rest, or it'll fall off.
Gee Pred, you're a really tough guy. Fancy putting morons in the same category as "blind" people. Or "not footy fans". Or even people who don't agree with you.
