Dominated most of that game for no reward. Cleaner team on the day won, but the better team lost.

before all the muppets throw the toys out, the team had a lot of youth in today. cant fault the effort but we did not finish off and our key forward was Kersten. a bit of perspective
Lets make an autopsy thread instead if arguing on here
Ball use was disgusting. Absolutely terrible by everyone. Most frustrating game.
if only kicking boots were on today
Hard to take anything positive out of this except it gets us closer to a top4 pick.
Can't see us winning another game this season bar maybe GC,
Bring on a gun KP
This one is all on the players, 5-14 is a bloody disgraceful effort for a bunch of men who claim to be "professional" & "elite".
Despite the poor kicking, it was the uncontested possession and intercept marking that killed us over and over.
Was quite impressed with Logue's 2nd half
I think we will win a few more before season end but finals all but gone now. Spend the last few games getting more games into the youth and sorting out our forward structure.
who is claiming to be elite? our key forwards was Kersten who is a bit player and an 18 year old in Cox. Execution was poor
Apparently he is.
We went forward 20 times in the first half without scoring it all, but the koolaid drinkers have forgotten about that and think the only reason we lost is missing shots at goal.
finals was gone after the collingwood game. they have been blooding alot of players. I like what the club has done. we may not have much elite talent but we are progressing
We had 16 inside 50's in the first quarter for 0.3. The shanks came after that.
It's not the only reason but we could've kicked 0.57 with our 57 I50 entries
It wasn't "just" anything. Heaps went wrong today. Some from the coaches and some from the players. We're all frustrated but some of you need to take a few deep breaths.
I missed the second half, but it looked that way in the first.
Our bad days are just putrid.

Yeah nah. Our coaching was disgusting. We kicked poorly, that is true. But we also went in 30 odd times without scoring at all and that is 100% down to our forward structure which has been the worst in the league ever since Lyon took over.
You can't kick goals without a forward line.
Not over looking it at all, been screaming out for Taberner for weeks. You just fund it easier to blame the coach every week
Exactly how I feel. I don't feel at all that we were beaten by a better team. We were beaten by our own pathetic forward entries and inaccuracy. Last derby it was the umpires, this derby was our poor kicking and turnover in forward 50.
Ok, so tell me how Ross is meant to do it different. How are the forwards meant to mark the ball when B Hill dribbles it in at someones feet. Or when Suban leads for the ball and the player sits it on his head for Barrass to mark. Or how Kersten is leading one way and Neale kicks the ball to the other side of him. Or how Suban kicks inside 50 to 2 players and it goes in between them and out of bounds. Or how Ballantyne is leading back to the square and Kersten stuffs a hand pass up which allows 2 eagles to get inbetween. Or how B Hill kicks it off the side of his boot again. Or how Lachie Weller doesn't know whether to go for goal or the top of the square and does neither.
Seriously, you do not understand football one bit if you are blaming that all on the coach.
The point he was making is that you need to play four quarters to win and our lack of scoring in the first half gave them all the momentum.
I'll have to watch it again but I just don't see it. Did we really use pick 8 on this bloke?
The coach is the one refusing to pick a key forward. The coach is the one playing 3 tall defenders but 0 tall forwards. The coach the is the one telling everyone in our forward line to push into the opponents defensive 50 so we have nobody to kick to when we turn it over. The coach is the one playing Nick Suban as a defensive forward on McGovern.
The coach. The coach. The coach.
